Who Am I?

Alex Celico is an emerging filmmaker and storyteller based in Rhode Island. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a minor in Film Studies at Rhode Island College (RIC), class of 2026, he is actively involved in various creative endeavors.

At RIC, he serves as the Vice-President and Film Creator at Anchor TV and a Graphic Comic Artist at the Anchor Newspaper. Through his production company, Celico Film Productions, Alex has directed and produced several short films.

Notable works include “Don’t Fence Me In,” the award-winning “My Roommate, the Puppet,” and “Some Enchanted Evening.”

His creative process often emphasizes storytelling that resonates on a personal level, blending cinematic visuals with authentic narratives.​

Alex also composes the music for all of his short films, combining his love of music and film. As well as puppeteering them, he also builds and designs the puppets used in his films.
